TIU Tuition Reduction Scholarship
TIU's Tuition Reduction Scholarship is designed to encourage students? desire to learn by reducing the Tuition Fee. Based on the strength of application, successful applicants may be offered a 30%, 50%, 80% or 100% Tuition Fee reduction.
A notification stipulating the awarded scholarship is sent to successful applicants along with their admission results. Under the condition that the recipient maintains academic requirements and conduct fitting of a model TIU student, the scholarship remains valid for up to four years for first-year students, three years for second-year transfer students, and two years for third-year transfer students.
There are three fees in addition to tuition: Operations Fee, Enrollment Fee, and Alumni Association Fee. The Enrollment and Alumni Association fees occur only once for the first year.

TIU Model United Nations (MUN) Scholarship
TIU also offers a Model United Nations scholarship. Applicants who are awarded this scholarship will have their Enrollment Fee of 250,000 yen waived.
Criteria:
- Must have previous experience in Model United Nations programs
- Must choose International Relations as your first-choice major when applying to the TIU E-track program as a freshman
- Must join and be an active member of the TIU MUN team for at least 1 year of their first 2 years as a student
- Must submit documentation that attests to your experience in MUN. For example, certificate(s) of participation or a signed letter from your high school.
Application Process:
- Email the E-Track Admissions Office to request your MUN Scholarship Application Form with designated application number on it.
- Submit the completed application form and proof of previous MUN experience (e.g. certificate(s) of participation, official letter from your high school, etc.) by the application period deadline.

Third-Party Scholarships and Additional Information
Applicants may also apply for relevant third-party scholarships, such as the JASSO-issued Monbukagakusho Honors Scholarship for Privately-Financed International Students, or home-county government-sponsored scholarships.
Students are permitted to have multiple scholarships at one time.
